UTBA Preview — February 2026
After a slow roll into productions for the year in January, February is filling stages statewide with a myriad of great theatrical options. Everything from golden age musicals, new works, staged readings, operas, contemporary shows, and even theatre for the very young. Options come in from the budget friendly to the highly spectacular and there are new shows everywhere from Logan to St. George. If you want to laugh, sing, or have your heart swoon with romance as love is in the air and snow may someday reach the ground of the valleys, take an evening (or 28!) and see what’s gracing Utah’s stages this month!

Utah has the rare treat of seeing two high quality operas perform the same show in the same month. Die hard opera lovers may pursue both, but options exist to see Humperdincks’s classic at both ends of the state.
Scarlet Pimpernel (Concert)

This swashbuckling musical in concert format blends romance, disguise, and revolution in early 19th-century France.
A Dozen Roses

Ushuaia Blue
