PLEASANT GROVE — The Ruth and Nathan Hale Theater has announced a new presenting sponsor, naming Utah Community Credit Union (UCCU) as a key partner in what the organization describes as a 16-year collaboration supporting theater and arts education in Utah County.
The partnership comes as The Ruth continues to establish itself in its new home at the doTERRA Performing Arts Center, which opened in January 2025 after the company’s 35-year run in Orem.
“We couldn’t be more grateful to have found a partner who understands the power theater has to enrich lives and strengthen our community,” said Executive Director Bill Woahn in a statement. “Their generosity makes it possible for us to elevate each production while ensuring that great theater remains affordable for audiences of all ages.”
UCCU, a member-owned financial institution with a long history of local sponsorships, framed the partnership as part of its broader investment in community-building initiatives.
“Arts and culture help build stronger, more connected communities,” said CEO and President Justin Olson. “We’re proud to partner with The Ruth to make live performances accessible to our members and the broader community.”
The sponsorship reinforces ongoing investment in the Pleasant Grove campus, which includes two performance venues, rehearsal and education spaces, and public event facilities. The venue was recently named the doTERRA Performing Arts Center in recognition of the company’s founding contribution.
The Ruth Theater continues to position itself as a major hub for both performance and arts education in Utah County.
