It’s amazing how time flies when you are a theater fan. We are now half way through the year and just as is always the case we have another super fun month of theatrical offerings we anticipate reviewing and we hope you will add to your calendar! If your show is not up for review we hope you will submit it using the form on our site and we will do our best to get a critic out to see it.
This month for musicals we have some eclectic offerings beginning with The Lightning Thief at West Valley Performing Arts Center. Then another recent Broadway hit comes to Eccles with The Girl from the North Country and later the regional premiere of The Nutty Professor at Hale Centre Theatre. Fan favorites can also be found with Seussical at Hale Centre Theatre Orem and Oliver at Hopebox Theatre. Finally don’t miss Assassins at Stage Door Theatre in St George. BYU Opera is also doing a special operatic production of Cinderella.
For straight plays we have Peter and the Starcatcher at Heritage Theatre and Our Town at Charitable Acts Theater.
